Sweet Old Oak Wood Ball in Cage Carved Whimsy Rattle Aina Stenberg Friendship: 7 5/8 x 1I found this sweet old whimsy in mid coast Maine clearly carved as a rattle long ago, but it stands straight and tall with the ball in cage at bottom, turning it in to a sort of architectural tower, and I love the formal progression of shapes that way. Carved of oak, early 20th century or so I believe. 5 5 16" x 3 4" x 3 4". Good condition. A few old knicks to the thin "walls" of the cage, I don't think at all detracting, and no splits breaks that I
