Striking muted striped Italian made silk scarf with geometric design

Probably made in the last 20 years

Measuring bust 40 inches back length 32 inches

but we think it’s probably 1970s

Hermès Palefroi Silk Scarf susan appears unworn the pattern referencesDesigned by Franoise de la Perriere in 1966 and we are not aware of a re issue. In really excellent condition for its age, the silk is has softened a little and the contrasting hand rolled edges plump. Immaculately clean, no noticeable residual marks, but there is a tiny pinprick hole in the bottom left hand quadrant near the edge. Made in France measuring 33 inches square.
